The recent announcement of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard"s collector"s edition doesn"t really appeal to me. It"s a little too expensive and the house music box isn"t really my kind of thing.


But it got me thinking about how I"ve missed out on some great collector"s editions over the years. Some of them might be terrible, but others have could have had collectibles that are worth the extra money you"re paying. My biggest regret here is not buying the BioShock collector"s edition, which had a great metal Big Daddy figure in it, for $70 (which sounds absurdly low by today"s standards). It"s ridiculously expensive now, and I wish I"d had the foresight of buying it back when it came out.
